Originally from NY. The NC native J. Bars, professionally know as Barskie has embedded himself into the market over recent years. Becoming interested in music in his early teens, Barskie studied and counted bars from artists like Kanye West, Juelz Santana, Lil Wayne which allowed him to develop his style and delivery. Considered 1 of the first young-ins in 336 to take up doing music, Barskie originally was considered a battle rapper as early as the age of 16 before even finishing HS. He started rapping with a group titled Booma Squad which included NC artist Ko Da Hoe and other talents. Gaining momentum with a YouTube show entitled “JbarsTV” back in 2011, Barskie became and has remained 1 of the regions primary go to guys for visuals and music.
